To design an intuitive health management app that supports Indonesians in reducing obesity through guided nutrition, activity tracking, and expert support.
The Challange

Design sprint Framework

Understand
Introduction
In this fase, We introduce ourself, then explain the tasks & roles of each which can be started by the Facilitator. After everyone has introduced themselves, it's time for the facilitator to briefly explain the sprint design process including the activities & agenda
my role is to be hipster.

Long term goal
Determine the goals of our design sprint by asking:
Why are we doing this project (goal)?
Where do we want our product to be or achieve in six months, a year, or even 5 years?
Once we have these, write the long-term goals on the board here is our team sprint goal
“ Helping users manage their diet so they can adopt a healthy lifestyle.”

User journey map
Listing stakeholder. we write who are the stakeholders related to this issue and write down some actions taket by them.

Then, we wirite user journey. This contains the flow that users go through while using our product to achieve their goals.

Expert Interview
Each team member becomes an 'Expert in the Room' and shares experiences and information gained from previous research by telling stories to other team members. While one person is telling the story, the other team members listen and take notes. The notes do not contain minutes, but contain 'How Might We'.
How might we
How Might We focuses on the problem, not the answer or solution that you want to build. In short, 'How Might We' is like formulating a problem in a thesis. The purpose of 'How Might We' is to explore the problem to get input from experts and potential users. NOT to provide solutions for expert sharing 'pain points'.

Target sprint
The next step is to determine the sprint target/focus based on the HMW we get. This is very important to ensure that our sprint runs according to plan.

Diverge
Gather inspiration ideas
This phase is the phase where we will look for solutions to the targets/focuses that we want to complete.
Crazy 8s
We got a A4/A3 paper, The paper will be folded/divided into 8 parts. we were given approximately 15 minutes to describe 8 different variations of ideas/solutions. After the idea or solution is created, then each of us presents their idea. here some crazy8 that we draw.

Zen Voting
Each participant has 3 votes (3 dot stickers)
Participants determine their choice by attaching a dot sticker to a specific idea/solution
Participants may vote for their own idea or an idea from another participant Participants may give 3 dot stickers (all their votes) to 1 idea.
Decide
Determining the Final Idea
After voting on the ideas in Crazy 8s, the team will work together to create a final idea whose contents can be taken from the collection of ideas in the Crazy 8s session into 1 ideal flow. After the final idea is created, then the team representative will present the final idea again.

Storyboard
Adopting the most potential big ideas into a storyboard. After we go through the ideation process and get the final idea, we will adopt the final idea into a flow that explains the value of the solution and its innovation in detail based on the context of its use and with a narrative approach.

Validate/Test
User testing
We will welcome and introduce the Prototype to the user. Give the user a task to interact with the prototype and ask the user to say out loud what they think and feel
Questions
Please start with the self-introduction of the respondent
How important do you think is an ideal body and its relationship with a good diet for health?
How important do you think is activity / exercise for health?
Is there any motivation yourself or from others to maintain health?
Have you ever used a calorie counter?\
Have you ever used a health application to monitor your body condition or to lose weight for example?
If yes, what application do you use? Why?
If not, why?
What do you like and dislike about the application?
We record user reactions to the prototype using colored Sticky Notes (Red for negative, Blue for positive, and Yellow for neutral). After the user completes the task, when we learns and digs for more information from the user. we ask if they understand the purpose of the tested task, where the parts make them confused, how was the experience when they interacted with the prototype, etc. that we can improvise.

The Result
Building this health tracking app was a journey focused on making daily habit tracking feel effortless and motivating. We designed simple, consistent flows for logging food, activities, and weight, so users could quickly see their progress without feeling overwhelmed. Every detail from hydration badges to calorie charts was crafted to celebrate small wins and keep users engaged. Through this project, I learned that clear feedback and a friendly interface are powerful tools to build lasting habits. It also opened my eyes to how much more meaningful an app becomes when it genuinely fits into users’ daily lives.
